Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of AutoNote, including the iOS and iPadOS app, website, AI study tools, Drive import, sharing, and support services.
Using AutoNote
AutoNote is a study and note-taking app. You may use AutoNote only if you can legally agree to these Terms and comply with applicable laws, school policies, copyright rules, and platform rules.
Accounts
Some features require an account, including AI credits, Drive import, friends, sharing, and collaboration. Keep your sign-in information secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
AI Credits
AutoNote includes server-side AI credit limits for AI study tools. Credit allowances, reset timing, and feature availability may change as we operate and improve the service.
This App Store version does not offer in-app purchases, paid subscriptions, or external checkout for AI credits.
AI Study Tools
AI features are provided to help with studying, summarizing, explaining, and creating review material. AI output may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it.
AutoNote is not a medical, legal, financial, or professional advice service. Do not rely on AI output as a substitute for professional advice, instructor guidance, or your own judgment.
Your Content
You keep ownership of your notes, PDFs, drawings, flashcards, messages, comments, and other content. You give AutoNote permission to host, process, display, transmit, and generate outputs from your content as needed to operate the features you choose to use.
You must have the rights needed to upload, import, share, or process content in AutoNote. Do not upload or share illegal content, copyrighted content you do not have permission to use, private information you are not allowed to share, harmful content, harassment, threats, spam, or abusive material.
Sharing and Community Rules
AutoNote may let users share notebooks, comments, invitations, group content, study tasks, or other user-generated content. You may not use these features to harass, impersonate, threaten, exploit, spam, distribute malware, infringe rights, or share offensive or illegal content.
AutoNote may remove content, limit sharing, block users, suspend accounts, or take other action when content or behavior violates these Terms, our safety standards, or applicable law. Report abuse at support@autonote.tech.
Google Drive Import
If you paste a Google Drive link, you confirm you have permission to access and import that file or folder. AutoNote may read supported files from the link to create notebooks and study materials.
YouTube Lecture Video
If you link or play a YouTube video in AutoNote, YouTube provides the video through its embedded player and related services. AutoNote does not download YouTube videos or provide offline YouTube playback. You are responsible for choosing videos you have permission to use for studying.
Account Deletion
You can delete your AutoNote account in the app. Account deletion removes or disables cloud account data tied to your account, except information we must keep for legal, security, fraud prevention, or dispute reasons.
Service Changes
AutoNote may change, pause, or discontinue features, AI providers, token rules, limits, or services. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Disclaimers
AutoNote is provided as available and without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app, AI output, imports, sync, or collaboration features will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every course or use.
